Witness the moment of discovery with Jamestown Rediscovery archaeologists as they excavate James Fort. Take a walking tour with a park ranger, archaeologist, or costumed living history character. View exhibits and galleries located in the Visitor Center and our archaeological museum, the Archaearium. At the Glasshouse, costumed glassblowers demonstrate Jamestown's first industry, and the Island Loop Drive explores the natural environment. Enjoy lunch on the banks of the James River at the Dale House Cafe, operated by Carrot Tree Kitchens. Historic Jamestowne is jointly administered by the National Park Service and Jamestown Rediscovery (on behalf of Preservation Virginia).
