Come in from the heat to experience the changing tastes and styles of the 18th century presented by members of the Governor's Musick ensemble with a variety of Museum-inspired topical presentations.  Using multimedia and conversation inspired by the objects, art, and people represented in the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg, performers will present a variety of topics, including how a new interest in nature inspired composers and burgeoning commercial industries, how classical music was influenced by folk music, how some composers actually experienced insanity themselves, or how the keyboards invented during the eighteenth century influenced the music that was written for them. (45 minutes)
