Centuries of Art @ Your Library
The Williamsburg Contemporary Art Center, in co-operation with the Williamsburg Regional Library presents this series of art lectures. They are free and open to the public Monday evenings at 7:30 pm. The 1st lecture will be "A Brilliant Disorder: The Works of William Blake. The lecture will describe how Blake saw the world through the vivid lens of his personal theology. Influencing countless artists and writers, most of which worked long after his death, Blake's imaginative genius still enthralls viewers today. Though most often known for his poetry and prose, Blake was also an accomplished artist.
