The 2016 TACL Cultivate lecture series presents the National Marine Art Conference classes, meet the artists, plein air event and lectures. Join keynote speaker John Stobart, America's most esteemed marine artist, along with Chesapeake Bay painter John Barber, Fine Art Connoisseur magazine editor, Peter Trippi, American Society of Marine Artists Fellows C.W. Mundy, William Duffy, Russ Kramer, Sergio Roffo, Len Tantillo, Mike Killelea, Neil Hughs, Kent Ullberg, Jerry Smith, Len Mizerek, Lisa Egeli and others. Celebrate the 25th anniversary of the ship Susan Constant at Jamestown Settlement as painters use her as their subject for a "paint out" plein air event. On Sunday hear Admiral Robert J. Papp Jr. U.S. Coast Guard (Ret.) for his talk about climate change effects in the Arctic. This conference opens the National Marine Art Tour that will consist of 150 contemporary painting of America's nautical history, oceans, waterways and marine life.
