Join renowned character historian Bill Barker portraying Thomas Jefferson with Georgia Dunn, owner of the British West Indies Trading Company and direct descendant of Thomas Harriott, the first of the British Explorers to record making beer in the New World, as they share the fascinating history of ginger beer and the prominence of this beverage throughout the country's history.  Taste the authentic beverage that was a household staple for our Founding Fathers and the Harriott family as they built enterprises spanning four centuries, supplying the country with essential commodities from the Caribbean. Program is preceded with a ginger beer tasting, followed by Q&A. Must be at least 21 to attend.
