Free Deck Tours for El Galeón, at Riverwalk Landing Piers

El Galeón, the authentic replica of the 17th century Spanish Galleon, is visiting the shores of the York River for a seven day visit to the Riverwalk Landing piers in historic Yorktown November 2 through 8. El Galeón will be the first Class A ship to make a port of call to Yorktown since the docks were built in 2005.  El Galeón, a replica of the type of vessel used by the Spanish Crown for maritime expeditions from the 16th to 18th centuries intended to discover and establish trade routes between Spain, America and the Philippine, will dock in Yorktown at the Riverwalk Landing Piers, located on Water Street in Historic Yorktown. While docked in Yorktown, the ship will offer free public deck tours on November 3, 4 and 7 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Additional paid deck tours will also be available during the weekend on November 5 and 6 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The price for the deck tours will be $10 for adults, $5 for children 5-12, and 5 and under are free.
