Enjoy this very English celebration with songs from the 17th and 18th centuries. In the early hours of November 5th, 1605, the infamous Guy Fawkes was caught under the House of Lords in London with 36 barrels of gunpowder ready to blow up parliament in this 17th-century terrorist plot. Guy was later caught, tortured, and executed for treason. Experience 17th-century cloak and dagger with music by the Virginia Company, tracing the failed attempted assassination of King and parliament in the Gunpowder Plot. Learn what "burning a guy" is all about. (1 hour)
