"A Music and Medicine Lecture-Concert"

Sentara Neurosciences Institute and Sentara Music and Medicine Center, in collaboration with The Williamsburg Symphony Orchestra and Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center, present a lecture and concert featuring Sentara neurologist Dr. Kamal Chémali with pianist Prisca Benoit joined by cellist Amit Peled. Dr. Chémali and Prisca Benoit, Sentara Artist-in-Residence, will host a special 90-minute lecture-concert highlighting the beneficial and therapeutic effects of music on health and disease. They will be joined by cellist Amit Peled from the Peabody Institute in a chamber music concert of works by Bach, Fauré, Brahms and Popper. Admission is free and open to the public.
