The first permanent English settlement in America was established at Jamestown on 14 May 1607.  Balladeers John Turner and Cliff Williams share tunes on recorders, guitar, pipe and tabor, fiddle and kit that the English inhabitants of Virginia in the first quarter of the 17th century would have been familiar with.  (1 hour)
