Stephen Solomon discusses his recent book: "Revolutionary Dissent: How the Founding Generation Created Freedom of Speech." Before the Revolution colonists were restricted from openly discussing politics (and Independence) by English Common Law.  Events leading to the Declaration of independence and the ratification of the Constitution lead to freedom of speech in our new Republic.  A book-signing will follow. (1 hour)
