The Tradition Golf Club at Stonehouse

Stonehouse winds over 6,962 yards of steep forested hills, wide plateau's, and abrupt ravines, and offers a truly exhilerating experience. If the dramatic elevations don't take your breath away, the greens hanging on a cliff's edge will. The peaceful atmosphere is beguiling while the long carries, deep bunkers and hidden greens appear out of the stately forest to test you on every hole.

Stonehouse also abounds in mystery and intrigue. Stories suggest Captain John Smith and his men created Stonehouse as a fort, and Virginia's hero Nathaniel Bacon used it as a hideout while fighting the despised governor's forces.

Stonehouse may even have been the place that Blackbeard, one of the ruthless pirates of them all, buried his treasures. Now Stonehouse has its own treasure. Every hole is worthy of legendary status and after you've played it, you'll have your own stories to tell.
