Special Note Concerning the Colonial Parkway
The National Park Service (Colonial National Historical Park) requires a permit for commericial vehicles on the Colonial Parkway, part of the Colonial National Historical Park. A one-day permit ($3.00) is available at Historic Jamestowne or the Yorktown Battlefield Visitor Center. Annual permits are also available. Student educational groups may qualify for a waiver. Colonial Williamsburg
The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation partnered with Penske Trucking to develop a new facility for the Foundation's expanding fleet of buses and trucks. Built in 2005, this new building includes a bus driver lounge (with a full kitchen, restrooms and cable tv) and service area which offers retail fuel and light maintenance. Williamsburg Outlet Mall
While your group spends the morning or afternoon shopping at the Williamsburg Outlet Mall, be sure to take advantage of the Mall's new Motorcoach Lounge. Busch Gardens Williamsburg
