Christmas Bounce Itinerary
Start a new tradition, and make memories to last a lifetime.
This holiday season, illuminate your season in Colonial Williamsburg’s Historic Area, and enjoy the European flair and fun of Christmas Town: A Busch Gardens Celebration. Our Christmas Bounce Ticket gives you three consecutive days of unlimited access to both.
Here’s how to make the most of your time…
Day One:
Arrive in the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor’s center, and get your bearings (and watch our orientation film). Then take a complimentary shuttle to Virginia’s colonial capital, where historic buildings are trimmed with handmade decorations from fresh greenery and fruit. Chestnuts will be roasting on the sidewalks and costumed interpreters will help transform you to an earlier time. Select from the many programs such as A Christmas Tea with Christiana Campbell, proprietress of an 18th-century tavern, or enjoy A Christmas Carol told by a descendent of Charles Dickens. As daylight fades, join in with the Fifes and Drums Corps and march down Duke of Gloucester Street, where you can stop for dinner in an authentic Tavern and enjoy an 18th-centuy inspired meal.
Day Two:
Begin your day with a morning of shopping in the 20 WILLIAMSBURG brand stores or in the many shops in Merchants Square. We have presents for everyone on your list. The tables of the hotel restaurants are laden with the bounty of the fall harvest, so why not enjoy a holiday lunch at the Williamsburg Inn or the Williamsburg Lodge?
In the afternoon, travel the short distance to Christmas Town: A Busch Gardens Celebration and get a close up view of live penguins in an ice-themed world of dazzling lights and snow. (And you might want to take a detour to Mistletoe Marketplace!). In the early evening, explore the Scottish countryside under a star-filled wintry sky where you can tour the Highland Stables, featuring Scottish Blackface sheep, border collies and Clydesdales.
Day Three:
And, the best way to wind up a three day visit? By going to the North Pole! Create memories for your family that will last a lifetime at Christmas Town’s North Pole. Santa’s Workshop is there --- and you might even catch a sneak peek of Santa and Mrs. Claus through the snow covered windows. Santa is more than happy to have children sit on his lap and pose for photographs to savor and save the memories of the day.
Three Days. One Great Price. Do what you want, when you want, as often as you want.
