CW - Thanksgiving MealA Williamsburg Thanksgiving is a special time since food and freedom come together as the focus of a weekend of feasts and events.

Enjoy Colonial Williamsburg’s annual tradition of several bountiful feasts of southern delicacies expertly prepared and served in a modern setting.  Meals take place at varying Colonial Williamsburg locations, including the taverns, the Williamsburg Lodge and the Williamsburg Inn.

At Jamestown Settlement, learn about food preparation and preservation methods of English colonists and Powhatan Indians. The Yorktown Victory Center highlights the typical fare of Revolutionary War soldiers and farmers.   November 28 – 30.  

Thanksgiving weekend is the traditional beginning of the Christmas season with both Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg starting their holiday programming. If shopping is on your list, the Williamsburg Premium Outlets and area shops are open with a wide variety of gift items from which to select.
