La Tienda brings the Best of Spain to Virginia. Located in the historic Whitehall Building, our 3600 square foot store offers only the best products from Spain, plus wine cooking classes, tastings and other special events. There's always someone on hand to guide your exploration of Spanish food or regale you with stories from the byways of Spain. Founded in 1996 here in Williamsburg, VA: the Harris family had lived in Spain during the 1970's, and wanted to share a taste of Spain, as well as her grace, warmth and traditions with everyone. Chorizo, Sausage, Cheese, Almonds and nuts, Olives and Olive Oils, Spanish Sweets and so much more. Love to cook, then join our Senorita Chefs Carmen and Lourdes for one of their cooking classes. Learn to prepare Paella, tapas, traditional and contemporary Spanish dishes. Special events are held usually quarterly and feature fold artist from Spain, Chefs from Spanish restaurants and more. Our Spanish Wine collection is a must to experience so come and enjoy sipping and learning about Spanish wines in our cellar. Open Monday thru Saturday and closed on Sunday. You may also order from our award winning catalog and have our favorites delivered directly to your door.
