Get some fresh air. Williamsburg winters have moderate temperatures and plenty of sunshine. So grab your family and walk the streets of Colonial Williamsburg, tour the Yorktown Battlefield, pound the pavement in some fantastic shopping districts and go birding along the York River. Who says you can’t have fun in the sun during the winter?

Discover the story of America’s beginnings at Jamestown Settlement, where an introductory film and extensive gallery exhibits chronicle the Powhatan Indian, English and west central African cultures in 1600s Virginia. Outside, enjoy 90-minute guided tours of the Powhatan Indian village, 1607 ships and fort.
