"The American Soldier, 1774-2015" – a one-man show revealing the struggles that soldiers have faced during war and upon returning home – will be presented at 8 p.m. September 29 and 30 at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown. The production is based on real stories and accounts from soldiers' letters written from the American Revolution through Afghanistan.

The production is being held in conjunction with the ongoing special exhibition "AfterWARd: The Revolutionary Veterans Who Built America," on display through November 27, that explores the post-war lives of veterans of the Siege of Yorktown.
