Colonial Virginia foodways are featured during this two-day event on Friday and Saturday, November 27 and 28. At the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, learn about typical soldiers' fare during the Revolution and trace the bounty of a Revolution-period farm from field to kitchen. Also at Jamestown Settlement, you can learn how food was gathered, preserved and prepared on land and at sea by Virginia's English colonists and Powhatan Indians.

Museums feature extensive indoor gallery exhibits and films, open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Outdoors, open 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., visitors can visit re-creations of a Continental Army encampment and Revolution-era farm.
