The Polynesian voyaging canoe Hokule'a ("Star of Gladness" in Hawaiian) is circumnavigating the globe on a voyage.  Hokule'a sailed into Yorktown on Sunday, April 24 and will host multiple public programs, events and public canoe tours while docked at Riverwalk Landing in Yorktown until May 8. Scheduled public canoe tours will be offered from 3 to 6 p.m. Tours are free and available on a first-come, first-served basis.  The schedule and tours are subject to change due to weather and safety conditions.
