On Saturday, May 8, Jamestown Settlement marks the 414th anniversary of the 1607 founding in Virginia of America's first permanent English settlement. Jamestown Day features a variety of family friendly programs, outdoor living-history experiences and expansive indoor gallery exhibits that explore stories of the  Virginia Indian, English and West Central African cultures in 17th-century Virginia.

This year in conjunction with the "FOCUSED: A Century of Virginia Indian Resilience" special exhibition, "Jamestown Day" combines with "Indigenous Arts Day" celebrating native culture through music, dance, and traditional and contemporary art.

Event is included with a Jamestown Settlement admission ticket ($18.00 for adults, $9.00 for ages 6-12) and can be purchased online or in person. Free admission for residents of James City County, York County and the City of Williamsburg, including William & Mary students.

Museum operations have been adapted for safety with protective protocols.
