In conjunction with the "Pocahontas Imagined" special exhibition, Karen Sherry, art historian and former curator of American Art for the Portland Museum of Art in Maine and associate curator of art at the Brooklyn Museum in New York, will present a public lecture, "Pocahontas in Image and Myth." The lecture is the first in a three-part Pocahontas lecture series presented in partnership with the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. The lecture is free to the public.
