United States 301 Main Street Yorktown 23690

Help commemorate the meeting of York County residents on July 18, 1774-a significant day in our local history. That is when the fine citizens of York County gathered to select two representatives to the 1st Virginia Convention.

There will be two reenactments, one at 12 p.m. and one at 2 p.m. During these meetings, costumed interpreters such as Col. Dudley Digges and Thomas Nelson, Jr. will lead a discussion with the public about how it should respond to the Intolerable Acts.
