Two of the best core workouts that go great together- SUP Pilates! Pilates emphasizes proper breathing, correct spinal and pelvic alignment, and concentration on smooth, flowing movements. Add the paddleboard as your mat, and now this unpredictable, changing surface, helps you activate more stabilizer muscles than you would in a studio. Newcomers to Pilates will automatically feel their core muscles being turned on, and if you have been practicing for a while this changing surface adds a new challenging level to the exercises. We’ll even add in the paddle as a prop for extra resistance. Watch eagles fly overhead, feel the sun on your skin, and breathe in fresh air as we move through exercises like the hundreds, roll up, single leg stretch, teaser, quadruped, bridge and push-ups. This dynamic workout will improve balance, strength and concentration. No previous Pilates experience necessary, just a sense of fun and adventure!
