The 239th anniversary of America's momentous 1781 Revolutionary War victory at Yorktown will be celebrated on October 17 at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown with exhibits, artillery firings and interpretive programs.
Discover the story of the American Revolution through an introductory film and expansive gallery exhibits with immersive settings, including "The Siege of Yorktown" experiential theater with special effects. Outdoors, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., interact with historical interpreters in a re-created Continental Army encampment and Revolution-era farm.
