Join Daniel Firehawk Abbott of the Nanticoke people from Maryland's Eastern Shore to learn about the material culture and lifeways of the Tidewater Algonquians as well as their interactions with the settlers of Jamestown.

Burchard’s setting of Christ’s last words on the cross evokes “love, fear, sorrow, hope, betrayal, agony, and ecstasy” and we’re honored to perform this exquisite work in collaboration with Old Dominion University’s F. Ludwig Diehn Chorale, under the direction of Dr. Nancy Klein.
