SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

The U.S. Small Business Administration declared Virginia along with the rest of the country a disaster area in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak on March 18.  

For information and to apply for an Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) visit DisasterLoan.sba.gov. All applications and loan decisions will be SBA-direct, funded by the U.S. Department of Treasury.

DEPARTMENT OF TREASURY

The Paycheck Protection Program prioritizes millions of Americans employed by small businesses by authorizing up to $349 billion toward job retention and certain other expenses.

Small businesses and eligible nonprofit organizations, Veterans organizations, and Tribal businesses described in the Small Business Act, as well as individuals who are self-employed or are independent contractors, are eligible based on meeting program size standards.
