American Revolution Museum at Yorktown - Groups
America's struggle for independence, from the beginnings of colonial unrest to the formation of the new nation, is chronicled at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown through the stories of citizens and soldiers in gallery exhibits, films and outdoor living history. Visitors can muster with troops in a re-created Continental Army encampment and help with chores at a re-created Revolution-era farm.
General tours explore history through role-playing, examination of primary sources and object analysis. Student tours and programs are correlated to the Virginia Standards of Learning, National Standards for History, National Curriculum Standards for Social Studies and Common Core.
