La Piazza

Chef David Everett's new dining establishment, La Piazza (which means "The Square" in Italian), opened in June on Duke of Gloucester Street in Colonial Williamsburg's popular Merchants Square. The restaurant brings Northern Italian cuisine, including fresh pasta dishes and newly popular healthy Mediterranean menu items. The menu features handmade pasta dishes, including gluten free and vegetarian options. Classic pasta and other regional specialties are prepared with healthy, fresh, seasonal ingredients.

The menu contained a wide variety of lighter fare, including large savory salads and Italian inspired dishes. The restaurant has a full bar and serves a wide selection of Italian style wines and local craft beers, along with a selection of specialty craft cocktails and mixed drinks. Patrons have the option of dining inside or outside under the trellis in front of the restaurant.
