Williamsburg Pottery

Williamsburg, VA 23185
United States
Overview

It began as a small pottery, where Jimmy Maloney made salt glaze in the authentic 18th-century manner, using clay from the nearby James River. The Williamsburg Pottery is now writing a new chapter in its 75-year history of offering intriguing merchandise at great values.

Opened in spring 2012, the new Williamsburg Pottery is made up of 3 extraordinary Marketplaces: Gourmet Kitchen, Home Essentials, and Outdoor Living. The Marketplaces, and freestanding Au Bon Pain restaurant, encompass more than 160,000 square feet of space.

Shoppers will still find the Pottery's famous range of artisans and their services, such as the award-winning custom framing and silk floral arranging, as well as its eponymous salt-glaze pottery, all produced on the Pottery's grounds.

These are joined by merchandise including glassware, china, cookware and kitchen gadgets, gourmet foods, award-winning wine shop, home fashions, lamps, home decor, candles and home fragrances, Virginia gifts and country store, seasonal items and much more. A wide array of items, many made in USA, locally grown, and some gathered from around the world, will ensure that customers find unique remembrances of their trip to the Historic Triangle, all at a great value.
