The Virginia Foundation for the Humanities (VFH), in cooperation with the Virginia Association of Museums (VAM) is bringing the Smithsonian Traveling Exhibit, Water|Ways, to make a splash at the Virginia Living Museum May 27 through July 9. The Water|Ways exhibit, located at the VLM changing exhibit area, will consist of engaging panels and kiosks where guests will be able to learn about the five major concepts: Introduction, Source, Flow, Quench, and Water is Eternal?

This is a great way to work on your paddling technique and also to enjoy some company while paddling. This is NOT A LESSON so if you have never paddled before you will need to attend one of my paddle lessons before signing up for this event.

The first permanent English settlement in America was established at Jamestown on 14 May 1607.  Balladeers John Turner and Cliff Williams share tunes on recorders, guitar, pipe and tabor, fiddle and kit that the English inhabitants of Virginia in the first quarter of the 17th century would have been familiar with.  (1 hour)
