The earliest dollhouse in the exhibit was made in 1820 for twin girls. Other houses include a house made in the Chesapeake around 1835 and a colonial revival house made around 1940. While young girls played house, what about young boys?

View this rare celestial event at the VLM! We will offer telescope views of the Sun throughout the eclipse and provide eclipse glasses to our visitors for direct viewing. In inclement weather, we will attempt to display a live webcast of the total solar eclipse in the Abbitt Planetarium for all to enjoy.

We are a family and dog friendly, casual running club in the Colonial area. We meet every Monday at Chef David Everett's DoG Street Pub for a 5k fun run. Thanks to AleWerks Brewery the patio is reserved during every run for snacks and drinks after. Run starts at six o'clock pm!

SUPing Sisters is for ladies only! Sorry fellas!! We will meet every Monday at 6:00pm and paddle together for an hour and a half. Each week will be a different place to paddle and explore. This is a great way to work on your paddling technique and also to enjoy some company while paddling. This is NOT A LESSON so if you have never paddled before you will need to attend one of my paddle lessons before signing up for this event.
