For just over eight weeks a year, Christmas Town transforms Busch Gardens® Williamsburg into a magical holiday haven with so much to see and do. Then hop aboard the Christmas Town Express, a steam-powered train festooned with lights, awash in Christmas carols, and steeped in holiday cheer – ready to whisk you away on a 15-minute journey through the spirit of the season. Visiting without little ones? Christmas Town spans all of Busch Gardens, so there are more than 35 rides and roller coasters to get your pulse pounding.

Festive Seasonal Shows for All Ages

For those traveling with multi-generational families or mixed-ability groups, Christmas Town has a variety of seated shows offering inclusive seasonal delights. At Sesame Street® Forest of Fun™, the whole family will be singing along as Cookie Monster, Grover, and friends help find Elmo's Christmas Wish – and playing along with the all-new Interactive Merry Monster Game Show.

'Twas the Night reimagines the happy anticipation of the classic poem… on ice. Gloria! Blends classic and contemporary music for a joyous portrayal of the first Christmas. O'Tannenbaum transforms Christmas Town's 50-foot holiday tree into a music-and-lights spectacular. And throughout the park, you'll find costumed carolers and other performers around every corner.

Sip, Snack, & Shop the Season

Is it really the holidays without seasonal sips, snacks, and shopping? Not at Christmas Town! Many onsite restaurants, including Das Festhaus, Trapper's Smokehouse, Squire's Grille, and Marco Polo's Marketplace, offer exclusive holiday menus. There are also festive drinks for guests of all ages, from hot cocoa and spiced cider for the kids (throughout the park) to spirited adult beverages and wine tastings for the grown-ups (at Bürgermeister's Hideaway).

Park/event hours are Monday through Thursday, 4-9 p.m.; Friday and Sunday 2-10 p.m.; and Saturday noon-10 p.m. We recommend purchasing tickets in advance as some dates sell out.
