Williamsburg Christmas Market

Step into the magic of the traditional, European-style Williamsburg Christmas Market, where holiday music and the scent of delicious gluhwein (warm spiced wine) fill the air. Browse more than 40 charming chalets selling handmade gifts, seasonal treats, and crafts from local, regional, and national vendors. Sip hot cocoa by a cozy firepit, enjoy live entertainment, take a train ride, or visit animals at the petting zoo. Bring the kids to meet Santa Claus and capture old-fashioned photos, every market day from noon to 4 pm.

Dates: November 28-30 (Friday through Sunday), December 4-7 (Thursday through Sunday), December 11-14 (Thursday through Sunday), and December 18-21 (Thursday through Sunday).

Location & Hours: Located at 320 West Court Street, adjacent to Bicentennial Park and behind the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg. Enter through Henry and Nassau Streets. Hours include Thursdays 11 am – 6 pm, Fridays 11 am – 7 pm, Saturdays 10 am – 7 pm, and Sundays 11 am – 6 pm.

Admission: Free entry for kids and students any day, and everyone on Thursdays. Adults pay a one-time $5 weekend fee that includes unlimited visits plus train rides and petting zoo access. Tickets are available at the door or online for faster entry.

Christmas Market on Main

Celebrate the season at the Christmas Market on Main, a beloved two-day tradition that brings a German-inspired holiday market to historic Yorktown. The street buzzes with festive cheer as close to 100 vendors offer everything from holiday décor to jewelry. The fun kicks off Saturday with the Town Crier, live performances by the Fifes and Drums of York Town, and Santa’s grand arrival on York County’s first fire truck. From craft stations to classic cars on display, it’s a truly enchanting experience the whole family will love.

The magic of the holidays are aglow under the twinkling lights during An Enchanted Evening on Main Street. The din of festive music fills the air as the aroma of roasted chestnuts drifts between vendor stalls, each offering unique treasures and delightful holiday finds. After a stroll through the market, guest can gather to enjoy a heartwarming nativity scene featuring live animals and then settle in for a special outdoor screening of The Muppet Christmas Carol. The evening becomes even more joyful with an appearance from a certain jolly, happy soul who has traveled all the way from the North Pole.

Yorktown’s Mistletoe Market

Immerse yourself in a Christmas wonderland as you stroll through Yorktown’s Mistletoe Market at Riverwalk Landing. Warm up with hearty chowders and soups or treat yourself to fresh-baked cakes, breads, and fudge. Discover handcrafted wreaths, candles, soaps, and local art that capture the spirit of the season. Be wowed by ice carving demonstrations, march alongside the joyful Toyland Parade, or hop aboard the Riverwalk Landing Polar Express for a magical ride through the twinkling waterfront festivities.

As the 16th year of 2nd Sundays reaches its grand finale on December 14, the streets of Williamsburg come alive with the spirit of the season. This beloved community tradition transforms downtown Williamsburg into a vibrant celebration of art, music, and holiday cheer. Six bustling blocks burst with artisan vendors offering handcrafted delights to wear, savor, display, and gift. Flavorful bites from local food trucks and a lively lineup of musical performances fill the day with energy and warmth.
