Women’s Trail Festival
Hike or run your way through the Women’s Trail Festival, taking place March 28-29 at Freedom Park. A 10-mile and 8K course are offered. The scenic 10-mile loop winds through seven miles of single-track mountain bike trails, with additional paved and double-track sections along the way. Switchbacks and inclines make the courses challenging and fun.
Bike the Bridge
Pedal through some of the region’s most scenic terrain during the sixth annual Bike the Bridge event on April 4. Starting in James City County, the route crosses the Chickahominy River and enters Charles City County along the 🔺Virginia Capital Trail. Route options include 15, 25, and 50 miles.
Historic Garden Week
Soak up the area’s peak spring beauty as you explore private landscapes, public gardens, and historic sites during Historic Garden Week, April 18-25. Hosted by the Williamsburg Garden Club and Garden Club of Virginia, this signature event invites you to admire more than 1,000 world-class floral arrangements.

Art at the River Juried Art Show

2nd Sundays Williamsburg – Art & Music Festivals
On the second Sunday of each month, March through December, Downtown and Colonial Williamsburg come alive with art, crafts, and live music during 2nd Sundays. Admire art from over 180 local artisans, participate in hands-on crafts and face painting, and enjoy food trucks and a beer and wine garden.
