Two days in Williamsburg
DAY 1- THE ARTISTRY OF WILLIAMSBURG
In the morning visit the art of Williamsburg

The Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg
When you step into the world of art history you are stepping on history itself, the Museums are housed in what originally was called the 1772 Public Hospital. The Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg houses the Dewitt Wallace Decorative Art Museum and the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Folk Art Museum. In these museums, you will enter a world with a vast collection of American and British antiques, folk art, and decorative pieces from the 17th century to the early 20th century.

Muscarelle Museum of Art
Art takes over at the College of William & Mary with the Muscarelle Museum of Art right on right on campus. This museum frequently offers traveling collections. However, the permanent collection dates back to 1732 and includes nearly 8,000 objects of art. If time permits, this is the perfect indoor spot to escape the heat and enter the world of art through the years.
Take the afternoon traveling to historic landmarks and take photos along the way

Take a walk down Duke of Gloucester Street
Duke of Gloucester Street is in the heart of Colonial Williamsburg. Stroll down the Pedestrian-only street with restored 18th century buildings, shops, and learn firsthand from Interpreters dressed in period attire. While walking down this timeless street, stop at the Governor's Palace, and the tulip gardens. Stop behind the cabinet and printing house for some outstanding pictures with stunning history, greenery, and colors all around.

Stop and grab a bite to eat
Enjoy lunch at any of the multiple Duke of Gloucester Street restaurants. Whatever you are craving, you will find something to fill you up. From the Cheese Shop, known for their amazing sandwiches, to Precarious, where you can find tacos, nachos, burgers, and even a quick refreshing drink from their home-brewed beer and wine featured from the Williamsburg Winery. So many options exist for allergen-friendly lunches at SaladWorks, Mellow Mushroom, and Dog Street Pub!
Evening Sunsets

Visit a hidden gem on the College of William & Mary campus
The Crim Dell Bridge is the perfect spot to end your day right in the heart of Williamsburg. Donated by the Class of 1964, the bridge is surrounded by local lore: if two people cross it holding hands, they will be lifelong friends, and if they kiss, they will become lifelong lovers. This spot is a hidden gem that makes for amazing pictures, sweet moments, and maybe finding lifelong love.

End the day in Yorktown Beach
Just a short drive from the heart of Williamsburg, Yorktown Beach offers the perfect place to admire the beautiful waterfront setting, enjoy the sunset, walk along trails that lead to monuments, and finish with a great bite to eat at the Yorktown Pub.
