Located minutes from downtown Williamsburg in historic Freedom Park, Go Ape is a highly interactive experience with 42-foot high tree-to-tree crossings. The course is made up of 38 crossings and obstacles, which include rope ladders, net bridges, trapezes, Tarzan swings, and zip lines. This season, the winery offers a “Holiday Table” variety six-pack, which includes the 2019 Wessex Hundred Petit Verdot, a brilliantly balanced wine with loads of fresh berries and darker aged fruits. Additionally, the winery encourages you to treat yourself (and others) to a “Romantic Winter Escape” package at the on-site European-style country hotel, Wedmore Place, which includes one night in a traditional room, a wine flight, lunch at Gabriel Archer Tavern, and other treats.
