This month's seminar will focus on wines that will pair with your holiday feast. Several small festival bites will accompany this tasting. Tickets are very limited. Larry Saint & Karla Smith are co-authors of Screwpiles: The Forgotten Lighthouses. The James River lighthouses first exhibited their lights in 1855 in response to increasing steamship traffic. The newly invented screwpile foundation supported a cottage-style residence & cupola to house the light. The lightkeepers, dedicated men & women, lived in often harsh conditions as they maintained their light.
