Our Beginner Paddle Fit Class will take place at the Jamestown Beach Event Park. You will learn the basics of Paddleboarding along with the basics of a Paddle Fit class.

This is a great class to attend if you are interested in participating in the Paddle Fit Bootcamp classes throughout the summer but are not sure what to expect. Cost of class: $30.00 includes board, paddle, leash and pfd $20.00 BYOB (bring your own board)

Follow the forgotten stories of African Americans who enlisted as soldiers for the American cause for a free and independent nation and those who joined British forces with the promise of obtaining their own freedom.

Throughout this month-long program, interactive experiences and interpretive programs honor the 400th anniversary of the first representative legislative assembly in 1619. An exhibit showcasing the original minutes of the first assembly that convened on July 30, 1619, on loan for the first time in America from The National Archives of the United Kingdom, will be available for public viewing through September.

Learn about the history and archaeology of Jamestown's churches and the crucial role women played in the excavations since 1897. This program includes an indoor lecture followed by a visit to the Jamestown Memorial Church (weather permitting) to view current dig sites. Additional ticket required. Theorems were a favorite form of folk art that Abby Aldrich Rockefeller chose for this special home.
